Santa Claus!

We visited the Christmas Village for Family Home Evening Monday night. We had so much fun! Karidee was old enough to go sledding down the a hill of snow. She looked nervous the whole way down, but she held on to the very end. After she hit the bottom she jumped up with her hands in the air and yelled: "I did it! I'm a big girl!" It was really cute. I'll post pictures of that later. They are a bit blurry though because momma over here was nervous about her going down the hill all by herself. She did so good!!!

We took the girls to see Santa Claus. Aviree screamed at the jolly man, but Karidee loved it!!! They took the picture and then Santa took Karidee's hands and asked her what she wanted for Christmas. Karidee smiled and mumbled "toys." She's so silly. Here's the best part. Santa told Karidee: "I bet you want a doll house, and I bet you like barbies..." You should have seen Karidee's eyes light up because that is what she asked Darin and I to write down in her letter to Santa. That man is magical and super sweet!!! Seeing Santa is all that Karidee talks about now. We also decorated cookies, visited the cute little Christmas houses, Karidee and Aviree played in a pile of snow, and we all rode the little train. It was so much fun!!!
