September 14, 2008... She's growing by the minute!!!

Karidee had her two week check up this past Thursday, Sept. 11th. They weighed her while she hollered ferociously... and guess what?! Our sweet lil' lady weighed in at 9 lbs. and 2 oz. She gained 14 oz. since birth. She's also 21.5 inches in length. Get this, though... when the nurse pricked her heel for the PKU test she was so brave and only let out the tiniest whine, but then she screamed when they put the band-aid on it. What a goof ball! Karidee is drinking about 3 oz. of formula now during her feedings. Yep, we have ourselves a little oinker. We just love our sweet girl. She's so content and she giggles in her sleep. Mostly I see it, because Karidee and her mommy are still party'n it up at all hours of the night. Sometimes Daddy joins in on the fun too. In fact, Darin has the magic touch when it comes to holding Karidee. He can get her to sleep with in seconds of picking her up in his great big arms. He is completetly twitterpated by the little angel. I must say, we are totally loving this whole baby business. Her little twinkling eyes and her goofy adorable expressions make every second of the day worth while and fun! And, I can't help but think that she is the prettiest baby I have ever seen!
