We can't believe it! Karidee is two months old already. My goodness time flies when you're having the time of your life. Well, she had her two month check up today and shots. She now weighs... drum roll please.... 14 lbs 6 oz and she is 23 inches long. Her dr. called her a chunk, but a very beautiful chunk! She's in the 98% for her size. I'm sure you're all thinking, Well what are you feeding this girl? The answer is: 3 oz of formula every 3-4 hours. Sometimes she'll take more is she's gone longer between a feeding. Sometimes she takes less, like today. She's only eaten 3 times today going 4-5 hours between each feeding. When she gets up at night I'll give her 4 oz because she eats only once usually before she gets up in the morning... The Dr. has come to the conclusion that it must be in the genes. Her dad and I were both chunky babies... so we made one too! Karidee was totally flirting with the man too! She kept giving him her twinkly eyes and cute little smiles. He totally ate it all up of course. He gave her a little squeeze and told me that we had a keeper. We so agree!!!
Now about Karidee getting her shots... She did awesome!!! She did cry when the nurse put the needles in, but only for a short moment. She stopped the minute I picked her up to hug, squeeze and kiss her for comfort. Then... she fell asleep for 5 hours!!! Mommy got so much done shopping... Woo hoo!!! She's been in a decent mood all day too! We wanted to get her ears peirced today so we can get all of the painful torture stuff done in one day, but they wouldn't do it when they found out she had her shots today. They strongly adviced I wait 2-3 days to get them done because her little body has already been shocked by getting shots. Its all good... I'll just take her Thursday morning.
Karidee is so much fun and has blessed our lives in so many ways. When I think of what Darin and I went through to just to get this sweet angel... it was totally worth it. She's the answer to our prayers and our small glimpse of Heaven. We love her so very much. She's beautiful and oh so smart. She's starting to talk back to us when we talk and she's giving us oodles of smiles. She'll sometimes touch our face while we feed her. I love it when we look into each others eyes... sweet moments like that reminds me that the Lord has a special plan for us all!

This is Amy Blair...Sorensen. I saw your guys blog off of Stacy Thompsons. I hope you don't think this is too weird, but i just wanted to tell you how stinkin cute your little baby is. She is such a doll! I hope you guys have been doing well! Also, Darin, i didn't know if you knew, but thought you might be interested to know a little about all of the girls from high school! Allison got baptized and married Devin and they're having a baby any day now. Russell, my brother, married Selena in June! Jessica is married and has a baby as well as Leigh Ann.
