Christmas Eve and Morning

Karidee helped us set cookies out for Santa... she even tasted them to make sure they were safe!
Santa came and he left us a very nice note!

She was a bit overwhelmed with all of her presents.

We love this picture of her. Her eyes got so BIG when Darin pulled her baby doll out of the box. She was so excited!!!

She loves her new doll.

Darin helping his little girl open up the presents from "us".

Playing with some of her new toys.
We spent Christmas morning in our own home. The reason being was because Karidee was very sick just a few days earlier. She hit fevers of a 104 and higher a few times. Very scary. We did take her to the ER Tuesday night... they couldn't find any thing wrong with her. Wednesday night her fever hit 105.9 so we called our home teachers and they came over and assisted Darin in giving her a blessing. (Thank you home teachers!) I took baby girl in to see her dr. Thursday morning and he said it's a virus, but he gave us the ok to go and see our families out of town as long as it was just for the day. He didn't want her exposed to so many people for very long.
We were so happy to hear that because we wanted to see our families! Every one was so happy to see us Christmas day... Well mostly Karidee because she's pretty darn cute and adorable! Ha ha!
We really didn't mind waking up in our own home Christmas morning. It was our first Christmas, since we've been married, in our own home and it was fun to start some family traditions of our own.
Ps: We have the best family!!! We could just feel the true meaning of Christmas in all of their homes, it was wonderful! Thank you, family, for making this Christmas the best!
